I know we talked about these a few weeks ago and I am trying to decide where to order them from. Amazon has them, but they are an Add On Item, and I have to order $25 from them THEN order the clips for even more money. Not happening.

I tried several other sites. I want to spend as little as possible for 3 of them for my large quilt.

Anyone ever deal with Shop.Com? They have them for $3.39 each. Most places want over $5 for each one.

Using a sewing machine is much easier than counted cross stitch or oil painting for me. I enjoy landscape quilting as well. I am working on my first applique project in the spring of 2014.

I got mine from Amazon as they were the only place I could find them. I paid $20 for six. Never have shopped at shop.com

Learn,

The add-on items can be part of the $25, in fact, you can only order the clips and if they add up to $25 you are in like Flynn.

No matter what I tried, there was NO box for checkout on the Amazon site. I could select the amount of clips I wanted, but that was as far as the site would go. I tried everything I could think of and nothing worked. How weird.

I could not get the singles ordered, so I ordered the 6pk like you did. Delivery on the 17th. Thank you. Now I will be able to hang 2 quilts.

I got an email late yesterday saying the spring clips had shipped. They should be here on Wed. Maybe, just maybe, I can get my large quilt hung up now...

Where is there a tute on using the 3M spring clips? I'm thinking just adding three tabs for the clips to clip to on the back of the quilt? Or however many needed?
I'm asking cause I'm sending my sister a wall hanging quilt, and I'm thinking of putting a dowel holder on the back of the quilt (tube to slide the dowel in), and when I send it, include the dowel and the hooks for that.
Other suggestions are welcome!
