This rayon/lycra jersey knit would be fantabulous for a summery little knit top and cardy...

...worn over a pair of capris in this lovely cotton broadcloth.

Or fine cotton lawn, for dressier summer evenings?

And this little rayon/lycra beauty says "Summer Dress" or a bathing suit cover-up!

And for the Purple Lovers...

Cotton spandex

And how gorgeous with this cotton shirting!

All fabrics above at SawyerBrook

Still haven't sewn up a ponte knit jacket or cardy? Now's the time, with some St. John's ponte knit in delicious summery colors...

With matching rayon/lycra for knit top or summery dress!

And for those special summery nights, nothing beats cool and comfy rayon/lycra with a shimmer of sparkle...

Fabrics. The stuff of life.

Nice fabric picks. Where did you find that sparkle rayon lycra?

Oops, forgot to include that link.

It's from Emma One Sock in the 11 oz Rayon/lycra knits catagory.

There are several other shimmery sparkle colors, too.

All lovely fabric choices. Although I love the St. John's ponte knit, I believe it is a wool ponte and I live in Naples, FL. My greatest challenge living here is dressing for the weather! I expect no sympathy there but having lived in the Northeast my whole life, I miss sewing up fabulous wools and fall fabrics. The gray/orange stripe is lovely however and is not wool.

That cotton lawn with the unusual striped flowers is beautiful! Now do I buy and stash for next summer? I'm booked solid n summer dresses until September:)
