Where should I go for nice French T-shirts for gifts? Kids and 30-somethings and affordable.
Already have Kensington area on the list.

Also I see some Fabric shops south of Chinatown--any great ones, not designer prices?

Go west of Spadina on Queen street. It's wonderful. Fabric shop after fabric shop. There are also shops that just sell buttons or just lace, or just ribbon.
Also on Spadina, on the east side of the street and just south of Queen street there's King Fabrics ( or a name close to that). I love going there.
Have fun, wish I was there right now.
