Greetings,

I have a pair of harem pants that have a very simple pattern on the legs that turns into an elaborate pattern at the bottom of the legs. I would like to find some 'design directional' fabric to recreate these and also some skirts but I don't know what that type of pattern is called. These are !00% cotton. If someone could tell me what this type of pattern/design is called I could then find it....or at least have a more intelligent search.

Thank you!
Lee

Border print fabric.
Sari would work beautifully.

Thank you SO VERY MUCH! I mean the name is almost obvious but I would have never come to that on my own. And yes, a sari is on the list as well. Again, thank you.

I looked at this lovely material but it's 100% cotton. I assume this means I am going to have to iron it, or not ?

You probably will have to iron it, yes.
