Ok I really wanted the carpet out of my sewingroom so I mentioned it to my hubby. He bit and decided I could have new floor but first had to paint the walls and build shelves in the closet and put up pegboard...get the drift now. Yes the room has totally been redone and I love it. Pics are on my blogMy Blog

I love it. Although I am still working on dh for wood floors, I am going to borrow your closet idea. I don't know why I had not thought of that. Thank you

Honestly I do not know why I did not think of it years earlier, also. Previously the closet had a rod in it and nothing ever hung on it and I had boxes stacked up to the rod. I could never find anything in the closet because things were stacked upon each other. He did have to put braces on the shelves even after he used anchor screws into the wall. He was afraid with the weight that the machines might fall but with both they are very sturdy.

I really enjoyed visiting your room. I also have laminate flooring in my sewing room and they are great. It has held up very well. A beautiful clean looking room.

Thanks for sharing your photos! It's fun to see your flooring wish and elbow grease create an inviting space. The vintage furniture adds warm appeal and of course, special memories. Hope you have many hours of enjoyment!
