now what?

Actually it's my 2nd. The first was SO obviously the wrong size. I cut a size 20 this time.

Ok. So based on my 'newbie' observations...the bodice darts end pretty much at the nipple. I know this is not correct, but am not sure how to fix it.

I wear a 40DD bra, and I think I need a FBA...but have never done any pattern alterations before. And the pattern doesn't have a line for lengthening/shortening, as I think I'd like the bodice maybe an inch longer.... I'm starting to get cold feet here!

I did not put a zipper in my muslin. Should I?

Is this your pattern? I'm the same bust size and, yes, you will need a FBA - other than that, I'm afraid I'm not much help. I'm still working on fit, too. If you've not done a FBA before, you'll get many recommendations here and you can choose what works for you. I use Nancy Zieman's pivot & slide method, but there are other versions out there as well. I'm sure you'll get lots of help here and good luck.

Don't worry. There's a really good thread on Full Bust Adjustment pinned at the top of Pattern Modifications, Design Changes & Pattern Drafting.
