Perhaps someone manufactures a replacement???

I have a much loved Pfaff that is subject to cam cracking. No problems so far but it is good to know that it is repairable. I'd like to think that my Pfaff 1229 is a forever machine but I have seen one that had more wear and fading on the exterior plastic pieces. When you get your Selectronic, keep it covered when not in use. I think that has helped my thirty year old machine a lot.

And I think keeping the machine cleaned and maintained has lessened the stress on the components. Perhaps that has (so far, knock on the sewing table) been responsible for keeping the machine running beautifully.

I hope you get your Selectronic and enjoy it.
