Which I didn't think was great until I started searching the internet and coudn't find it for less than $16 a foot! I ordered two yards since I am tired of paying $20 for every knee brace, ankle brace and chin strap for my DH. He'll learn to like tiger print when I tell him how much we saved!

How thick is the fabric? Does it feel like regular knee bracer material or is it thinner? I have been contemplating ordering this for a while but with crazy shipping prices to Canada I have resisted so far.

The photos make it look fairly thin, but yes, I'd also like to hear more about it when it arrives. Thanks for posting about this, Janie.

It's very odd to me that they say it is suitable for wetsuits but don't list a thickness. When buying a wetsuit- that is extremely important to know!

I just got the fabric and it's suitable for "damp suits" ifyou know whast I mean. I don't think it has more than 1/16 inch of padding, it's too thin to protect a ipad and it's not enough body for wraps with velcro for health. I am going to send it back. It's just not good enough to pad anything or keep much warm.

Nancy2001 you are correct. The neoprene from fabricmart would make good clothes for regualr wear. I just can't conceive of why I would make something for everyday wear from it. Maybe a child's jacket, but ick.

Burda just did a spread that was surfer/watersports inspired. Maybe it was intended for stuff like that?

Too bad it wouldn't work for you.
