Hi everyone,

I created a new technique using your ruffler foot. I saw a pillow in a magazine that I wanted to duplicate. I was going to use that new heat shrink fabric where you iron it to the back of your fabric, do some stitching or quilting and then shrink it with the steam of your iron. Its called Floriani Heat N Shrink. Oh my gosh that is so expensive, it was $20 a package. I just thought there has to be an easier way to get the look I wanted. I started to play around with my ruffler foot and came across a great way to ruffle a full length of material and it is gorgeous!! Watch my video and see how easy this beautiful pillow is to make. Thanks, Cindy

I really enjoyed this tutorial video! I don't have a Ruffler foot, but after seeing the pillow, I may buy one! You do a very nice presentation.

Thanks so much for taking the time to show how to make ruffled tucks!

"Ruffled Pin-tucks" or "Pleated-tucks" is a technique we don't see demonstrated much these days...it once was popular for prom gowns and children's party dresses, and of course...Home Dec!

OMGosh when I was 12 I had to stitch what seemed like miles of those pleated/ruffled tucks...for the valences my Mother was making for our Living and Dining room windows! She drew the lines...I stitched..and stitched...and stitched

Your video is extremely well done...with great attention to detail.
I really enjoyed it...thanks again!

I saw your video and really was inspired by it. I can see using this technique to enhance an insert in a jacket, blouse or purse. Thanks for sharing and posting about it.
