Still working on the muslin. Added the front vertical dart which I probably need to move over 1/2" at least. When I tried it on last time, I noticed the bust was too large. I am trying this on with a sport bra but it does not compress that much. Should I live with it or try to take in the horizontal bust dart which I shortened an inch. I would like this to be a wearable muslin for an outdoor wedding on Sat. The "good" fabric is a linen/rayon which feels soft & gauzy but not too thin. The muslin is stretch cotton. The next pattern I will go down a size to the bust in the front, then size up below. Normally, I increase the size below the armscye as I don't like tight clothes. Rolls are not flattering.

The sports bra could make the difference. Unless you are planning on wearing a sports bra to the wedding, I suggest you put on a "real" bra and then evaluate the fit of your garment. Also, you are planning on using a different type of material for the "good" garment. That could affect the fit as well.

I put on a real bra today. No difference in fit. I will probably just go ahead & make it as is. Just thought--better check to see if I have a lighter weight interfacing in the stash or need to order more from Pam. As it is, I used her Pro Weft interfacing on my $1/yd muslin fabric.
Ok, safe. I have 2 yds of ProSheer Elegance in stash.May almost be too soft but I'll live with it.

I'm seconding this just for future newbies reading this post! The difference in silhouette between real bras and sports bras can be dramatic. I actually use my sports bras to fit muslins for specific historical eras that call for a high, softly curved bustline because they do mimic that particular silhouette in a way that my real everyday bras don't come anywhere close to. Which is to say... I'd never wear a sports bra to fit "real" clothes! YMMV, of course, depending on the bra.
