If you don't mind shopping online, Fabric Spot in Markham, ON provides a nice choice of quality fabric and really good service.

There has got to be something other than Fabricland around, doesn't there ?

Whitby Fabrics - I have been in, but it's tiny.

Anywhere else ?

I just did a Google search, and a couple more came up in the surrounding area. Note -- I know absolutely nothing about these stores:

Ann's Fabrics & Sewing Centre
Whitchurch-Stouffville, ON

Art of Fabric Inc
Pickering, ON

...Some other things came up, too, but they didn't look like fabric stores. A couple looked like sewing machine stores and one was apparently a furniture store (which I thought was pretty funny, but maybe it sells upholstery fabric).

Don't think you are going to have much luck. Live in the same area and that's been it for me - for a very long time.

Whitby Fabrics is nice - small but carry some really nice stuff - a bit on the expensive side if compared to Fabricland.

There area few quilting stores if you are looking for that.

I shop a fair bit on-line - DH would say a lot! Mostly from EOS and a few times from Sawyer Brook

Stouffville is a little far, but I'll look into the one in Pickering.
