This pattern would be a great fit for me, but the sleeves are a little too much for me as I go towards the classic style. Wonder if anyone has used a cap sleeve for it.

i feel you...I'm not down with the sleeve options that come with the pattern, but I have made the tank top version several times. I don't think it'd be that hard to pick a sleeve from another pattern and put it on. I've often thought about it with this pattern, but haven't done it. I'd just make a sample first.

I think a cap sleeve would be a nice option if you can find one from another pattern you like. It would also cut your fabric requirements a bit too, as those sleeve pieces are fabric hungry!
I made this with the less floofy of the sleeve options, but unfortunately my fabric did not have quite enough drape when doubled over, and they stuck straight out the sides like wee shoulder awnings
