I wanted to make a smaller quilt with darker star points and like the way it came out.

When I iron it and quilt it I think it will be even better.

I like how the dark stars are there, but you have to really look for them. Another beauty.

The stars are still hidden more than I would like. But, closer to the goal.

Im excited to make a quilt Ive been asked to make - there will a very clear difference between the block and the background! And the "small" parts are 5 inch squares.

Oh, I really like that, and the flying geese border is wonderful.

Thank you for looking at this pattern again and indulging me.

I had to cut all new pieces for the stars. But, I had left over setting pieces.

And, the HST bits are left over from a quilt I made in November. Ive made a few projects from the parts and still have more of those parts to use up.

Now, I "only" have 1/2 a bag of the 2.5 inch orange squares. I might end up with some sort of postage stamp quilt...

Yes these stars do stand out more!

I love looking at ALL your quilts, you have a bond with fabric and color that is so awesome!

And I'm pretty excited about your quilt you've been asked to make also! I can't WAIT to see what you put together!
