Does anyone know any info on the new V7? I've heard it arrives mid Oct.
Cost to upgrade?
What's different from V6?

There's been some talk on the Bernina Software Yahoo Group about it coming out this fall. There is also a group specifically for V7 but I'm not a member of that one. Amanda's site says it will be out in late September.

Anyway, I can't find anything definitive on cost. I paid $500 to upgrade when V6 came out, and I've seen some speculation that most dealers are offering a $50 upgrade to V7 *if* you buy V6 from them now. Speculation on MSRP to purchase V7 without upgrade is $2150 and up.

So, I don't know any actual facts, but if you'd really like to keep an eye on it, you might want to join one of the yahoo groups.

Hope this helps.

I've been doing machine embroidery for 11 years, but I'm definitely a beginner at garment sewing.

Full software MSRP is $1999
Upgrade from v4, v5, or v6 to v7 MSRP is $599.
Up to the dealer if specials are offered. Bernina is on record for v7 upgrade MSRP of $99 when purchasing the full version of v6 until 12/31/2013.
