I am usually in awe when I see patterns that people have drafted based on an inspiration item or when a pattern is heavily modified to get what they want. I can't do that yet. :)

I am really looking for a woven tee type of top but with a placket - or mock placket. Any help is much appreciated!

You always do the best searches! Thank you for taking the time. I'm always amazed at how thorough you are and how very close you come to finding just the right pattern style. Wow!

I conquer!!!! :)

Thanks! I think that B5826 is exactly what I'm after...well view A with the sleeves of view C :)

I have M6747 but it's intended for knits - also the "look" I'm thinking of. I wear my McCall's 6519 top at least once per week and thought a version with placket would be nice :)

Thanks for the quick help!!

lakaribane, yes, you do fantastic searches! The first top is sweet! Funny, I've been through the Butterick books quite a bit lately and never saw that one.

Thank you everyone for the compliments, you are too kind!

I'm afraid it's all déformation professionnelle because both my jobs involve research and thoroughness (museum+teaching).

Also, I am a line drawings kind of girl so I never focus on the photo but on the technical drawing.

I'm happy to help anyone with their searches, truly!
