I recently bought some stretch poly twill from FabricMart intending to use it for a jean jacket type pattern. The fabric was listed as medium weight and indicated for jackets, pants, etc. The fabric arrived and it is much to light to be considered for the jean jacket pattern. I am wondering what I could attach to it to give it more body to allow it to become a jacket? I do not want to lose the stretch quality so I am reluctant to use any kind of fusible interfacing.
Any help would be appreciated.

I would try the interfacing for stretch fabrics from Fashion Sewing Supply--Pro-Tricot. Possibly buy the sample pack too. The Pro Weft or ProSheer might decrease the stretch they would both work too.
