I went to my dealer last week to inquire about trading up my symphony and they had not even been to the training yet. They didn't have any machines or the price. I think the official launch of the new line up is the 26th, I could be wrong though. My dealer said she was going for training the 24th and should be coming back with machines. I told her I would be back next month.

Just curious....what prompts you to trade up your Symphony for an Aria?

I'm curious too. I don't see anything about the Arias that appeals to me (JMHO).
The only thing I see that is much different is the longer harp, which personally, I don't need as I do my actual quilting on a frame with a Juki 2010 and it has a 2" smaller harp, but it gets the job donor to my satisfaction. The Symphony is a fabulous machine. Enquiring minds want to know!

Not sure how important this is to some vs. others (i.e. if you have a long/longer arm machine to quilt on), but it is longer, light is brighter, has the laser pen, I *THINK* the digital dual feed foot can be added, and color screen. I've seen people trade up for various reasons, sometimes a huge difference in machine, sometimes not so much but if the price is right and they've had their old machine for some time it gets them a new warranty, and in this case all accessory feet would work so no loss there.

I'm mostly interested in the digital dual feed foot but the extra harp space would be nice too. I don't have the room or the budget for a long arm. It will all depend on the price difference. My dealer will give me full purchase price for my symphony if I trade it in the first 2 years. I love my symphony but I really love the new digital dual feed foot. I went and tried it on the crescendo and was instantly hooked.
