I just thought I would share some information regarding dress forms.
For the longest time, I was kind of using the dritz dress form to sort of fit the garments I was sewing. It wasn't working because in my old age things have shifted around and gotten bigger. OMG!!! Anyway, I found on the internet that someone used the Fabulous Fit dress form padding kit to mimmick their measurements and had success with it. They used their dritz dress form.

So I ordered my large kit off of Amazon and padded my existing dress form and now I can pretty much fit anything. It is AWESOME.

It tells you how to take your measurements and gives you step by step instructions on how to put together the form with the padding.
Their customer service is excellent.

I did the same thing last year with my Dritz dress form. Love it! She looks like a professional dress form with her ivory cover and center front, center back, and side seams. She is so much more "pinnable" than when I used just batting and a camisole. Same as you, getting older, bigger, and my body is changing. My mom used to say "The sands of time are shifting" - lol. :-0

I bought the FF with my dress form last year. I was so pleasantly surprised. I love how much easier it is to fit my garments. It also has the advantage of not making atop to fit the form.

While a bit pricey I think it is well worth it. Do get the large so you have more pads to choose from.

I am doing the same thing with my dress form except I am just using quilt batting to pad out.
