Hi all,

I will be selling my husqvarna optima 620 but I have no clue about what price to market it at. I am based in New Zealand, and only one has ever sold on our version of eBay and the bidding information is long gone. Any idea what this machine would vaguely be worth second hand and in good condition or know how I can work this out?

Have you thought about keeping it as a backup machine. Many of us here have...ahem...more than...ahem...one machine.

Hehehe! Yes I have considered it - but I promised my husband I would sell it to recoup some costs of the new machine ;). One income family with small kids and all ;)

Do you have a dealer that sells used machines that he would have taken in as a trade in ? I would check that & then price yours a bit lower as the dealer would have gone over it & oiled & tune up etc. Hey maybe your dealer would take it on as trade for the new Janome? Would not hurt to ask.

Thank you - I will ask the janome people for sure I sounded out the bernina/bernette people who didn't sound that keen... But I should definitely double check through both dealers :)
