I'm starting a jacket that is sort of a jeans jacket but fitted and it has dolman sleeves. I have sloping shoulders so I'm not a big fan of dolman sleeves on me. How can I convert these sleeves to regular set in sleeves?

If it were me, I'd be changing the pattern! My shoulders don't look good in dolman sleeves either.

I really like the style of this jacket even though it is OOP mainly because it is not boxy like some jackets but when I bought it on line I didn't notice it had dolman sleeves.

Do you have a jacket pattern which has set-in sleeves which you like and fits well? Borrow the shoulder, armhole, and sleeves of that pattern to use with this jacket pattern. Otherwise, you're going to be doing a lot of drafting for which people go years to school to learn!

When I saw your topic i thought, "now that is interesting!"
I agree with GIButterfly, take a jacket that is similar, or that fits you well and meld it to the jacket you like.

I do not look good in dolman sleeves either.
I would love to hear about what you sew. And of course see it as well.

I have a jean jacket where the sleeves fit me well. That's a good idea. I will try that doing a muslin of course.

That makes sense! Looking forward to seeing what you end up doing!
