Interlocking Monogram Stitching Order?
should middle initial be sticthed first or last?

When you do a monogram where the letters interlock, is it appropriate to stitch the middle initial (i.e. last name initial) last so that it stitches on top of the first/middle name initials or should this letter be stitched first with the first/middle initials on top of it?

Yikes, Lmn927. I have no clue. I just assumed the machine automatically did the order of the monogramming. I am just about to order the interlocking initials for my DDs. I'll be sure to follow this thread.

Traditionally the family initial comes to the front. But I don't see anything wrong with doing whatever you think looks best.
