Okay, I admit I am not the most computer savvy. I have looked in the message board under computer stuff but cannot find how to add a picture or link to a message. I have no problem adding one to FB, but copying and pasting does not seem to work here. Can anyone help this older user?

I was having trouble with this too.

When you're writing your post there will be buttons under the Subject/Title area. You can use the Image Button or the http button.

But theres a catch. You can't Post or Insert a picture to PatternReview like you would with FB or email. Strictly speaking, you can't ADD an image to your PR post at all. You can only add a LINK which POINTS to an image OUTSIDE of PatternReview. Your image never loads onto PR's server - it must be located elsewhere.

To do your own pictures, you have to set up an account with a site that stores/hosts images. I once had a KodakGallery account but they closed down. Flickr's popular around here, but their pages dont load for me. Its antivirus or internet provider router issues. I wish I knew what it is about Flickr that my setup thinks is so poisonous but I'll probably never know. I seriously get NOTHING from my internet provider - not even an email address - but I have to put up with it - theyre the only game in town. I'd LIKE to be able to add pictures to posts - I LIKE seeing other people do so - but the hassle is too much.

I don't use Flickr often, but when I went to it a week or so ago, I was overwhelmed with all the "stuff". It took me forever to download pictures. Then I couldn't find the "address" to share them. I don't like what they have done to the site. It's dark and confusing.

I created a video on how to post Flickr photos:

I've been using dropbox myself and while I haven't used it to link to any photos on this forum, I have on others. Once you have a picture uploaded to dropbox there is a way to request a URL for it and then you provide the link to whoever you want. Here's a sample

and here's the info from dropbox on how the link feature works
