I love this Tracy Reese dress but right now it is $250 on ebay in my size. I would really like to make it using B5894 but I am having trouble find similar fabric. I think I can find grass fabric for the bottom of the dress, but I am having trouble find the impressionist looking fabric making up the majority of the dress. I did a search on etsy.com for impressionist and the closest I found is this. However, it does not have the pinks and green I would like. Does anyone know of any similar fabric? I have looked on ebay but I might have missed some. Thanks.

I can't help you on the fabric, but I saw that dress about a month ago and LOVED it!!!! But too much $$$ for something that would only get worn a few times here in MN.........but it is SO pretty.

Maybe something like this?

It's expensive, though.

Would a Monet fabric print or Monet inspired print work?

Can you believe this is a sheet? Water Lilies Organic Cotton. found it when I searched Monet inspired print fabric.

maybe it is fabric by the yard to coordinate with their linens.

They also have this on sale, Monet Fabric. Not what you are looking for, but at least an idea for a different resource.

Wow, 110" wide! Maybe it would work well with a good press with sizing or an underlining - depending on how often and long it would be worn.

This Liberty of London Tana Lawn from Emmaonesock is a beautiful print, but pricey.

Or this one, too, which has more of the grass color.

You'd need less than 2 yards, so not toooo bad.

Not the right style, per se, but the right color family maybe?

Mostly finding fabric is fun...

I didn't think to search for "Monet". I have made a dress with a sheet before. That is a great idea. That "Monet" fabric is very close except for the orange. I will think about it. It is very pretty and I do love orange. Also, did you click on "More Views" of the fabric. There is another colorway that looks even closer, but they don't appear to have it.
