Subject: Help Colette Patterns Win! - Should the scrapbookers have a bigger voice when our community is so large??? Confused... Date: 8/29/13 12:52 PM

Not affiliated, but thought this was interesting enough to share. Maybe it already has been and I missed it!
I know many people here enjoy Colette patterns and review them.

If you don't get her news letters, "Colette Patterns is a nominee in the Martha Stewart American Made awards, celebrating companies and goods crafted in the US."

You can vote six times a day and it looks like the competition is fierce.
I personally appreciate Colette patterns as a small from the ground up business. She seems to truly care about her team as well.

Anyway, just thought I would share.

Oh - I forgot to mention if you vote six times, you must wait 24 hours from when you vote to vote again... :)

I love that shop with the cool socks! I have to get my daughter some black "I'm Awesome" socks!

ETA: it was sorta raised in this thread, but not about Colette specifically.

I love her patterns. I haven't (and probably won't) actually purchase/make any as it isn't my aesthetic but they all look pretty! :)

Colette patterns is currently asking for help as the scrapbooking community is currently in the lead! Not affiliated just sayin'
They are 6000+ votes behind but could win if more people voted, and voted daily 6 votes until it was over...

About 52,287 is the current status on Colette patterns votes.
58,686 is the competitor's number...

The gap has closed slightly - they are getting slightly more votes per hour at this moment than the scrapbookers - so PROGRESS!

I wonder what a win with such a big company would do for sewing awareness? I think some people would be surprised at the momentum sewing has gained!
