Knit jackets are so comfortable. I am looking for something which is similar to this Gap Jacket.

Terry Moto Jacket

Any ideas?

I agree...I've got 6 or 7 pontes in my stash that will eventually all be jackets.
I made this last year with a black/charcoal ponte and it's one of my favorites. You could tweak it to add the trim and to relocate the zipper.

This Knipmode pattern is similar and is for a firm knit. It's available as a pdf download if you can't get hold of the mag.

I can see why you like it. The others are good also.

How about this one? It's made with Windblock, a reversible fleece and has the key moto jacket detail of the asymmetric zip front. I found it right here on PR by googling. This is a really good idea Deepika and I look forward to seeing your finished look.

PS I just realized it's Burda magazine and don't use them. So going back to an older issue could be problematic? How about using a stable knit- ponte, Windblock, etc in a current moto style and tweaking the fit as you sew? This looks like a great choice By Shams.

I made a ponte jacket from Hot Patterns "Moto" jacket, and love it.

Oh Boy, that Kwik Sew pattern is exactly what I was looking for. I wonder if I need to go down a size for sewing it in Terry knit.
