I see that www.quiltinaday.com has the Babylock/Brother Magna Hoop on sale for $24.75 down from $99.00
Anybody have this and how do you like it? It is a 5x7 size.
They say you don't need stablisher, how does this work?
Any info would be great. Thanks all.

Its good for things that you would use sticky stabilzer. it removes the need for the sticky. it is good for fabrics that might get hoop burn, towels velour, velvet

Before you order go to the Designs in Machine Embroidery and make sure that the version of the Brother hoop the third party site is selling is compatible with your machine. Different models have different styles of clamps and they are not always interchangeable.

The magna hoop is a metal frame that sits in the embroidery machine hoop.
Check for machine brand and model compatibility before purchasing.
I use mine for machine embroidery quilting.
No stablizer needed as the top, batting and backing are enough to stabilize the quilt for light designs that are quilt specific.
Here is the compatibility chart at DIME.
