I'd love to make a Pea Coat for this winter in darkest Navy with a bold oversized collar.

I just can't find any patterns that are a good starting point. Any suggestions?

I've had this one Butterick 6775 in my stash for years. Perhaps you can find one (like the one I linked to) someplace.

People on a previous thread posted some links.

One of these days I'm going to make that Pea Coat myself. :)

I have my eye on this pea coat type jacket from the 5/2010 issue of Ottobre design. (Past issues can be purchased from their website ottobredesign.com)

Melissa at Fehr Trade made a fun one from the My Image magazine, bottom row third from left.

Back issues of My Image are available through their website imagewearpatterns.com

Not strictly a pea coat, but it does have a sizeable collar is Butterick 5685.

There is also the OOP Kwik Sew 3623

Just noticed Simplicity 2508 has a view that looks pea coaty, with a few different collar options too.
