now have my mother-in-law's old Singer treadle machine. Cabinet is not in very good condition. not concerned with monetary value, but would like to know about sprucing it up. the top layer of wood has come off in places. would need to replace whole top layer. anybody ever done this? advice would be appreciated. thank you.
