I've met Miss Thing, Matilda, MiniMe, and Her. I share my own studio with Dancing Miranda.

Any other whimsical folks out there?

I inherited my dressform from my mother, who bought it when she started university back in the 60s and called it Flossie. Since Flossie is older than me by a good few years, I hardly feel it would be polite to rename her!

One woman. One sewing machine. One giant stack of fabric. What could possibly go wrong?

I named my children and my dog. Anything else sounds childish ... to me.

My current dress form is named Marie Antoinette, for obvious reasons.

I have enough trouble keeping the names of my family straight.... I go Kk, I mean KK and then No, I mean KR. I don't any more names in the mix!

My dress form is vintage, and came with a name, Waity. My friend named her after her great grandmother (I think).

Fun thread. Alas, I do not have a dress form, but if I did, considering that I name all my stuffed animals, my motorcycles (big mistake as I cry when I sell them) and even my computer (Boris), I have no doubt that something else that I have a relationship with would get a name.

Nope, no name. LOL I do not refer to it as a her either. Just seems a little creepy like the old movies where the dummy comes to life. Kudos to those who do though.:)
