Has anyone ever purchased leather from The Leather Guy ? The prices for his lambskin leather hides seem really good. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with ordering from this dealer? Thanks.

I am thinking about a colorful biker jacket from lambskin leather.

Try Tandy Leather. My mom used to work for them years ago and they have all sorts of leather working materials and hardware.

I've always grabbed leather from FabricMart when they have sales. They have always been very helpful if you call with any questions.

I've recently moved and found this place about 3 miles from me. I went in and fondled a bunch the leather. They have oodles and oodles in lots of colors, sizes, thicknesses and types.

Montana Leather

I can't say what their service is like but the place is huge! They have lots of leather and accessories for saddles and bridles also.

I am planning on heading down soon because I want some leather to add as accents to a dress I'm wanting to make.

Okay, sorry for the delay. I finally remembered to placed my order.

I ordered some soft Lambskin. The price was $21 and shipping was $8.75 via USPS. I will let you know when it arrives. If it is quality skin this will be a great bargain, so we'll see when it arrives.

I plan on making my wife a small handbag for running around on the weekends. I need to get started on a pattern and prototypes I guess.

Okay, my order came in yesterday.

The quality is excellent! The skin is very soft and thin (for those of you that only own a home machine).

I let my wife touch and feel it and she loved it. :)

So thumbs up on the one thing I ordered.
