Subject: Poor Kee (Bernina 750)... Date: 9/10/13 11:32 PM

But vacation is OVAH, buddy-boy!!! Time to SEW!

(Tricked ya, didn't I!)

Yep. Kee can SEW!!! Wooooohooooooo!!!

He, Panzy and I visited the amazing and wonderful Bernie the super-tech this evening, and after getting his SP06 update and some calibration and other magical things, Kee and Panzy did some test stitching. And yes, I can tell the stitching apart...coz I know which machine was using which color.

Kee stitches beautifully! No puckering of the fabric (except in needle-right, but that's the software which currently programs the tension all the way up to 7.5! Technical term: "Oops.")

Perfectly GORGEOUS deco stitches! And all the stitches -straight, cross-stitch heirloom, deco- feel like part of the fabric when touched, front and back! No more bumpy knotty feel.

And yes, no black oily thread at all.

As a bonus, I also got to see my very first ever Mole-inator (which curiously resembles a bong), a quilter's heaven of a home, met both Shelley, quilter, teacher and designer, and her faithful B750 friend Gracie, and a very angry squirrel who had worked himself up into a total frenzy.

I will do photos of the test stitching tomorrow (I'm exhausted, twas a very long day!), you couldn't ask for better quality, and I now have 2 machines that sew beautifully.

Thank you, Bernie and Shelley!!!

And one for Ms. Gracie.

UPDATE: Photos page 4.

Really good to hear! Thanks so much for your honesty and candor. I'm so happy your 750 is performing to expectation. Have a good night's sleep, and can't wait to see the photos!

Sewing machines make me happy. I like sewing with them, cleaning them, petting them, gazing longingly at them.
