Gee, hope I'm not too late, I'd hate to be the only one that didn't post an Enabling item on Enabling Day!

I just bought a FQ and some fabrics of Hoffman's new Snowy WInter Wishes

And it is GORGEOUS! You can't see the gorgeous silver metallic thread in the photo, but in real life it just glistens! SOOOO elegant! I loved it so much, I ordered more.

Whew, sure am glad I found out in time that today is Enabling Day!

I am such a magpie, I like anything shiny, so fabrics with metallic trim is always a favorite with me.

Where is Wolf? She has to be part of Enabling Day.

I really enjoy quilting. I love to play with fabrics, colors and pictures. I recently discovered how much fun applique can be. As I love making pictures, landscape quilting can be challenging, but seeing the picture come to life is so rewarding.

We obviously live on opposite sides of the country...I can't wait for some sign of winter, or fall, soon!!! I am sooo tired of summer and 100 degree days. No sign of summer ending here, any time soon, according to the weather man.

You don't live far enough north to see signs of fall yet! Our Ash trees are just showing yellow among the green leaves. If we make it past next week without a smidge of frost, we'll be lucky.
(Higher altitude at 3500-3600 ft. east of the Rockies & north of Montana.)

Fabric pictured is lovely!

What a relief! I was worried that I was supposed to be enabled. I see I only need to be an enabler. Now that I have learned on PR that trailers are for stashing things I could have been in sew much trouble.

Hmmm, how can I help here.........

Hubbie picked out this fabric in a creamy pale khaki for a shirt.
Linen/Silk from The Common Thread, Austin, Texas.
The owner is delightful - truly - it wasn't just that she ships and sends swatches. And it is a very spouse friendly shop.

That is beautiful fabric. Dare I ask what you are going to make? Or just to look at it for now?
