Hi,

I have a very deep mattress--19 3/4" d--so very few sheets or anything else fitted will fit the mattress. I bought a supreme mattress cover recently that said it would fit any depth of mattress. Well, it didn't fit mine. I am constantly, daily, re-adjusting it. So, I'm wondering what I can do or how do I extend the elastic with extra fabric to make it fit my mattress? Is there an easy way to do this?

Thank you,
Leslie

Since it won't show like a sheet, the easier * way than messing with corners and elastic is add a strip to the middle of the cover. Just stitch across your 4 elastics on the sides before you cut it in half, then add in the strip and sew both cut sides to it. You can just put a regular hem on the strip edges and match up with the elastic. I did this with crib sheets, but used a cute coordinating fabric for the strip.
If your sheets fit with deep corners, measure those to see how much to add + a couple inches extra.
