Hello-

Does anyone have any suggestions for a pattern that might come close to this dress by Ace & Jig?

Thanks so much!

Appeal to the sewers that own the japanese pattern books, this simple style might be found in one. Also, Check top patterns, and lengthen to dress could be possiblity.

The styling reminds me of some dresses in the 90's and early turn of the century, before things got tight. I would look for that era of pattern.

I agree with CathrynR. I had a pattern in the 90s that looked just like that which I sewed at least half a dozen times. Maybe Ebay or Etsy will turn one up.

------
My measurements = 47-35-43. Height = 5ft11in.
RTW size =18 on top, 14/16 on bottom.
Sewing size = 20 and I alter from there.

That is exactly the pattern I have been looking for, but how does one order it?

Kwik Sew 2289 looks real close but I think it's out of print. It's fairly straight & loose-fitting rather than nipped-in at the waist. I have made it several times in printed gauze, it's my beach dress.
Burda 7224 (Burda Young) looks pretty similar.
