I haven't seen any postings about this yet. I am taking a Shirt Fitting by Cup Size class with Jennifer Stern on Thursday and of course, must have a shopping day.

I do need to get a shopping plan together instead of running around like a kid in a candy store. I have a couple of patterns that could use some fabulous fabric. And of course Kai scissors. My goal is to have one of every size.

OOPS, forgot to add a link for info American Sewing Expo

I have a couple commitments in the evening that week-end but might try to wander thru the Expo Friday morning.

Bonnie, Kyle, Liz and I are going to be there from Friday to Sunday. We are all taking classes- I will bring one of my PR shopping bags, so sto me if I don't see you! If we plan a meetup I'll post it.

Good idea. I will carry my PR bag also. Not sure what day I will go, maybe Friday? Have a great time.

Connie, I was thinking of going, but no firm day yet.

Off topic, are you going to the IPM near Mitchell next week? There is apparently a quilters city with all sorts of sewing stuff, quilters of course but Jamone (sew and save) will be there. My son has been working on set up, but was completely uninterested in scouting out the sewing area. Hmmpf.

I wasn't thinking of going- to me the plowing match has gone so far away from "real" farming so it isn't worth it for me to take another day off to walk it. My sister in law is going- I'm not sure why- and she is a quilter, so I can ask her what she thinks about it.

If I still lived in Southfield Michigan I would be sure to drive right over. Now living in Oklahoma and just too far for me.

I have a workshop with Gretchen Hirsch on Thursday, and will be attending the expo itself on Friday. I look forward to it every year, there's always something new to learn.

It's $17 to get into the IPM and I'm not a farmer in any which way or form or quilter so will pass on checking out the sewing. I'd rather spend that money on something in Novi, I should check out which vendors are going to be there as well as plot out my usual cross border stops.

Edit: the snowbirds just flew over! Going to drive out to the airport I think!

Sounds like me with your planning of cross border stops! I have a few parcels that will be waiting for me at my parcel pickup in Port Huron too! When are you going to be there?
