I have tons of stuff bookmarked on my browser, and then I have to scroll through to find what I want.
Is there a way to organize links, so that I can have "Home Dec" for example, and then have my links pertaining to that topic?
thanks for your help.

Yes, you should be able to create folders to organize them. Which browser are you using?

I am using aol, but I am willing to use a different one if it's easier to organize.

Hmmm... I haven't used AOL in over a decade, so I don't know how any part of their software works. :(

In most other browsers (IE, Safari, Chrome, Firefox), there is typically something saying to manage or organize favorites/bookmarks. Maybe there is something similar?

you could make word documents. Copy and paste the the address to your word document.

For example I do this for sewing stuff, I just put sewing on the first line plus what it is about.

sewing skirts

sewing home dec curtains

etc. Then it ends up in alphabetical order in your documents. You can make folders also.

I also copy and paste the whole turtorial and or photos to the word doc. Web pages can go away never to be found again.

Can you download Firefox to your AOL account? It's free. Then I can help you lots. But to help you out in the meantime, I bet if you right clicked on one of your bookmarks, a menu asking if you want to make a folder might appear.

Just in case, what does the Menu bar at the top of your page say? (what are the options? such as File, Edit, View, etc.)

Are you on AOL dial-up? with AOL as your browser? That was the only way I had bookmarks on AOL. I cannot remember much about it, except that there was a limit to the number of Bookmarks (back then) and I had hit that limit.

Agree with the others--any browser should have an option to Manage or Organize your bookmarks (altho' ATM I'm looking at the Bookmarks tab on Firefox and not seeing it! LOL)

That said, I've all but given up on bookmarks for exactly that reason (too much scrolling, with often not a lot of info in the bookmark name to go on!). Any website I might want to look at again, I'll pin on Pinterest. Anything smaller that I want to keep, I'll do a snip and save the .jpg in a folder on my desktop (with the website in the name of the file). It's a lot easier to recognize something from a photo than a URL!

Thanks to all of you for your suggestions! I will have to experiment this weekend and see what I can do.
