My husband bought a suit last night. I hemmed the pants, but the salesperson suggested he have the back rise "shaped" as it looks kind of "puckered" in that area. Pressing helped some. We have no time to take it to a tailor, and I don't know what he means. Does the seam have to be taken in? I tried that with my hand, and it looked even more puckered. My hubby may not keep his jacket on all night (wedding reception), so at some point this area is going to show. Any suggestions on what this entails? Thanks!!

When men's pants are sewn the back crotch is stretched. Maybe this is what was ment? However, this was supposed to be done before sewing backs together.
