I'm so pleased to share that my new-to-me machine sewed through my laminated cotton with such ease I has to check it to see if it actually sewed!

This is without a walking foot, Teflon foot, or taping the foot. Laminated side and wrong side--I'm so psyched!

Yep, the miracle of the 201. I'll take it over any plastic sewing computer any day. A better machine has never been made, then or since.

Even through top stitching at a scant 1/8--the quilting cotton+seam allowances and the laminated cotton folded over. I didn't even use my typical sharps, though I should have.

Handled the pocket curves without any sticking!

OK, I'm done (blush blush). Feeling a bit of a braggart!

No need to curb your enthusiasm here! I love hearing about the vintage (and new) machine acquisitions and your delight is contagious! I have a 15-91 that has been neglected. It was used for FM until I got a bigger machine. The FM foot is still on it!! it probably needs some TLC about now and i am going to bust her out of her dark hole and enjoy her once again!
