Debbie - I really enjoyed your blog post about this outfit. All the pattern alterations were fun and just go to show that a bit of knowledge, a traced pattern and fearlessness will get you a long way.
Learning to slash and spread was one of those revelations I learned here at PR. The first time I tired it, it felt a bit "naughty" as I am sure our old school Home Ec teachers would have fainted if we did that!
