Of course the model isn't plus sized (another topic right?) but I think this dress would flatter those of us with curves.

It is a gorgeous dress that would look amazing on the plus sized ladies but yes...that makes me mad when they use an "average sized" woman to model "plus sized" clothing.

That dress would of course look good on smaller women too (like the model ), so just size it down. I don't see anything about that dress that would make it necessarily plus-sized friendly. It's just a pretty, classic dress.

And it is perfect for all my cocktail party / egg-gathering needs!

They do such a singular job in making sure the model isn't plus sized for plus sized clothing, and obscuring the clothing with posture and props. I frequently wonder WHY a garment needs to be camoflaged?

I can sell you a nice ranch with Palm trees, chickens and an ocean view...
And if you subscribe to the Abercrombie and Fitch mantra, size TEN is plus sized garment.
We all know that Burda is different. But nothing can beat those awful pose of the Vogue models earlier in the year, on their backs with their legs in the air, crouched over and otherwise contorted.
Aren't you glad that you can sew your own clothing?

On my trips to my son and daughter-out-law's place I do my fair share of milking goats, gathering eggs, and wrangling horses. I hadn't realized until now how underdressed I've been. No wonder the lead goat sneered at me.

It's just fabric; we can out-think it.

Ahhhh. This is true! :)

I do agree that it's a nice classic dress...BUT lots of times the "plus sized" options are glorified rectangles or other features to hide rather than accentuate.
