I keep getting the "please check under plate for thread" error notification

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!! My 1.5 year old baby has a problem! NEVER had a problem before but tonight (after getting some thread caught under the plate) it won't stop giving me the same error. I can't sew, as soon as I hit the foot pedal it give me the error!!!

Is there just a bit of thread wedged in there and hidden? That happened with my Viking Rose once and after I teased it out with tweezers, the message stopped.

You might check to see if a small piece of thread or even some fuzz is lodged around the cutting blade.

Yes...check for even a tiny piece of thread...and change the needle and check the bobbin holder for any nicks.

Yes, I took it all apart and NOTHING!No thread, fuzz, lint, nothing! Eek! Is it broken?

Did you turn the power off and wait a minute or so? I have this problem periodically with my Sapphire...very maddening!
