Once again, I've fallen in love with an OOP pattern that I can't find anywhere: My Webpage
It's McCall's NY NY 2679 balloon skirt, circa 2000.
Does anyone know where to find this pattern or something similar?

I wish I did have that one! I treasure all my old NY*NY patterns from that era. They were fantastic. I was really sad when they morphed into some dumb mainstream thing and then disappeared. Good luck - I hope you can find it!

Thank you, I think it's going to be a long slog. Those were great patterns, weren't they?

I occasionally find NY NY patterns at my local thrift, I will keep an eye out for you.

Maybe you can convert any long full skirt into a bubble skirt. I remember seeing a tutorial or two when bubble skirts were all the rage. Maybe you can find them here. Good luck with your search/sewing!

------
My measurements = 47-35-43. Height = 5ft11in.
RTW size =18 on top, 14/16 on bottom.
Sewing size = 20 and I alter from there.

That's a good link; thank you.
I have been thinking of doing that. It's not really the pattern that I need so much as the instruction sheet. So maybe a tutorial will work.
