Hi everyone,
Sorry for the obvious self-promotion.
I have just launched my website Quick Need, and have written a number of in depth Craftsy reviews. Since the descriptions of the classes can often be a bit vague, and they aren't cheap, I thought it might help people decide whether or not the classes are suitable for them.
My latest review is The Couture Dress.
I have also so far written reviews on Fashion Draping: Fashion Draping: Dress Making Basics, Fast Track Fitting and Sewing Machine 911.

Thanks for the great reviews about Craftsy. I have The Couture class, but haven't watched it yet. Also have the 911 about SM's, I sign up for all the free classes, even though I am not a beginner I can still learn something. Craftsy classes started out much cheaper, too bad they seem to constantly go up in price.

Hi everyone,
Another review written, if you are interested. This time it's 40 Techniques Every Sewer Should Know. A great class for beginners, but I wouldn't advise for more experienced sewers. What do you think?

I agree with you completely; they used to be much cheaper. I was happy to buy then, but as they get more costly its becoming much more of a difficult decision whether or not to splurge that extra cash. It was one of the main reasons I decided to write the reviews; to help people decide if the class was suitable for them. Although Craftsy has to refund guarantee, its still such a hassle to go through.

I just checked on the Sewing Machine 911 class as it was mentioned on her review, that it was no longer there. Yep, it's missing. Just sent an email off to Craftsy. I've bought several classes ( non-sewing) that now no longer show up in my purchases. I can find them with some difficulty, but I have to be looking foe the specific class, not just cruising thru thinking, what do I want to watch today.

I'm thinking we could be losing paid for classes unless we keep a separate record of our purchases.

So they aren't showing in your purchased classes? One of the selling points is that any class you purchased will always be available to you.

I suppose if you can search it out technically it is available, but I don't understand why it wouldn't show up in your purchased class list.

katskinner - reviews are a great idea. Thanks.

With a great wardrobe that's still in the flat-fabric stage.

Better contact Craftsy something must be wrong, I just looked at my account and all the classes paid and free ones are on my account even Sewing Machine 911 (which I clicked on and it started). The way I get to all my classes is first logging in then clicking on the little face in the upper right hand corner (next to the cart) put my curser over the little face and select "My Craftsy" and just scroll down the page a bit and on the left hand side all my classes are listed in the order I signed up and the date I last accessed them. Hope this helps.

Thanks for taking the time to do these reviews. I already have a couple of the classes you reviewed in my que. Now, if I would just set aside the time to watch and learn....

Hi everyone,
Here is another review that I have uploaded: Adjust the Bust: The Complete Guide which is taught by Kathleen Cheetham.
I am a bit on the fence about recommending the class; if you read the blog post you will see just what I mean. I hope it helps anyone who is considering buying. I'd also love to know what you thought of the class!

Here's another update to help you out! It's a review on Underneath it All by Linda Lee on Craftsy .
It's a great class, and I am recommending for all skill levels.
