I have the dubious honor of being close to reaching 10,000 posts on here. This is because for two or three years, I lived on here. Now I just visit here -- big difference.

So, do I get balloons? Cake? (I don't need cake.)

Has anyone else here reached this, um, milestone, or am I really the first?

Deepika currently has 11,132 and she's the first member. (late '02)

With all your posts, would you accept $1.99 in place of a ribbon? After all, ribbons might be needed for a sewing project. (You have 10,494; membership late '07). Hmmm

Surely a layer cake of fabric would be appropriate
