Remember a few weeks ago we were talking about things to do while we sew?

The other night I was hanging out with Bonnie K on quilt cam and remembered --- I *DO* have a mirror placed special on the wall so I can look up and see my computer screen while Im working at the sewing machine.

If you look in the mirror you can see her sewing

I "watch" lots of art history programs and this mirror comes in super handy to peek up and see what piece of art they are talking about.

For those of you who have spent time driving with kids in the backseat --- this is the equivalent of tilting the rear view mirror to be able to see what evil those kids are up to when they scream at each other!

My Aunt used to point at us in the rear view and yell -- hilarious.

I just want to tell you your machine is beautiful. It looks like a 201, the machine I learned to sew on and have a soft spot for!

Looks like another great quilt in the works! I do the same since my back is to the tv. I have a mirror on my sewing table angled so I can watch and sew.

How's the foliage this year? I miss NE in the fall!

Funny! Just like your quilts, really thinking out of the box there. Do you use that machine for all of your quilting?

I love sewing on that machine - I just got it in July(ish)

I have a few other machines - I use them all. I just FMQ almost a whole queen quilt with this 15-91, though.

What a picture! A vintage sewing machine with quilt in progress-- next to an ornate mirror reflecting a high tech live connection to a fellow quilter. Love it!
