Hi, Bernina lovers! I have a B 580 which I love but I would like a machine to do piecing when I am embroidering. I am considering a 700 series one like the 710 but how easy is it to access the bobbin to change colors etc. I already have to struggle a little to change the bobbin in the 580 when it is recessed. It is just a little deeply set.

I know the 710 has a large bobbin but you still have to oil it. Does anyone have a 700 that is recessed in the table and can comment on this? I can buy a Pfaff. Does any other company have a Pfaff like IDT on a lower priced machine, ie, under $4000 when on sale? Janome has an awkward one unless you get a high end one.

Thanks! Your opinions are always so informed!
