I have one of those for my 620. Is yours a 620 or a 600?

Contact, SewClassic with a picture of the threader to see if it is even doable. Link. Or, your local Singer shop.

I don't know if it will work with the 600 and I wish I could explain how it's attached to my 620, but I can't. I have a photo, but it's not too good. If SewClassic can't help you, repost again and I'll post the picture with a (hopefully) good explanation.

You should be able to open up the front part of your machine by grabbing on the head part until it pops open to one side. see photo by clicking here
There should be a hole in the machine head, near the tension discs, that holds the screw. The screw is inserted in this picture (click here), along with the threader and the spring. Note that the threader goes on first, then the spring, then the screw. The photo shows the threader at a 90 degree angle.
This photo (click here) shows how to use the threader. You store it in the upright position like in this photo (click here) and then shut the "door' to sew again.
