Well I am making Hot patterns jacket and have been looking forever to find three, different sizes all same style lovely ornate gold buttons.
largest 1,5" or 1 1/8, next two progressively smaller sizes say 7/8" and 5/8"
Sooooo many nice buttons but only in TWO sizes
DUH !
Surely some are in three ??
Anybody know other places to look?
Thanks so much

Thrift and vintage stores!
The vintage often have a bunch down the back, then smaller at the wrists and throat.

I would contact Sawyer Brook or Apple Annie Fabrics. They both have an extensive collection of buttons not found on their website.

Thanks Patty I did see some but not much variation in sizing. I wonder why they have sizes so close...1inch and next down 7/8"
I will keep looking

Thanks Anne, I will contact them directly as websites didnt really have anything.
Since jacket uses snaps , buttons are decorative , if its impossible to find three I was crazy to think hmmmm maybe 3 different size brooches, those vintage antique looking gold ornate ones...similar enough to "go" together
Key for the buttons is gold and ornate.
Sigh I have seen some LOVELY 1.5 inch ones.....but to find matching 1.25'' and 1"

You know, you could always make some. That way you could have complete control over the sizes.
I have seen some interesting pieces in the jewelry-making aisle at JoAnns that would make really cool buttons.

Try the Button Emporium in Portland, Oregon. They have a small website at Button Emporium. Most of their inventory is not on the website so call and they will help you.
