I picked up a cute hip length Ann Taylor jean jacket at Goodwill the other day and I'm going to update it a bit and would like to dye it more indigo blue - right now it's acid wash look - you know that blue/gray/cream/white shades. Has anyone tried to dye an acid wash garment? It's 100% cotton so I know it'll dye, not sure about the 'golden' thread of the button holes. If I can successfully dye it, I'm going to find some dressier buttons as I think the owner kept the original buttons and replaced them with plain plastic ones.

I feed my soul by the stitches I sew.
