The new simplicity release is here. I am pretty underwhelmed with the choices--why did they think we needed 5 kinds of pajamas?

Not a thing I need or want.

Not really worth waiting for their darned website to load.

That is a lot of PJ patterns!

Actually, the pj/nightdress patterns aren't bad. I find a lot of them are frumpy, but I like these. On the other hand, I probably won't buy or make them anyway! I like 1511

I honestly thought I'd looked at them before...but I hadn't. Snooze.

I like 1499, the vest pattern, especially the moto collar variation. Glad to see two big and tall men's / husky boys patterns even if they're pretty basic.

There are some cute details on all the loungewear although I don't have a need for those patterns myself. Is the idea that we make pjs for everyone for Christmas, is that why there's always so many loungewear patterns in the fall?

I've just looked at the patterns and... where are actual clothes? There are pyjamas and accessories and costumes, but nothing interesting or wearable.
